The option to use vinyl material must be requested on the modication form.

Any project that involves Fences, Sheds, Decks, Pools, etc. must receive prior written approval from the Homeowners Association. Contact the HOA Board at boardmembers@greenefarms.net to start the process.

What is Considered Yard Waste and When Does Collection Start?

Yard waste bags or 32-gallon containers must be placed single file (not stacked one on top of the other) within four (4) feet of the roadway by 6:00 a.m. on collection day/not earlier than 6:00 p.m. on the day before and must be removed by 6:00 a.m. the day after collection. Yard waste must be 2-4 ft. from your rubbish/recycling or on the opposite sides of the driveway. A separate vehicle collects the yard waste and it must be identifiable by the yard waste-vehicle driver.

Yard waste must be in a designated paper-compost bag (available at local retail stores) or a 32-gallon trash can (with handles) that is designated with Township yard waste stickers. If you are using a 32-gallon container, the stickers must be on two sides of the can and facing towards the street so the driver can identify it as yard waste. Stickers are available in the Residential Services Department.

NO containers over 32-gallon, fabricated tubs, stacked containers and/or stacked yard waste bags will be collected.

NO yard waste inside a recycle bin/plastic bags or bags/containers over 50 pounds will be collected.

Acceptable items inside 32-gallon cans or yard waste bags: Grass clippings, vines, leaves, weeds, garden debris, shrubs and brush trimmings less than two (2) inches in diameter.

Unacceptable items inside 32-gallon cans or yard waste bags: Dirt, sod, animal droppings, rubbish, hay, straw, corn stalks, branches over two (2) Inches in diameter, stumps, root balls, logs, wood and/or wood chips, rocks, landscaping timbers and all food-type items (i.e., apples, pumpkins, garden foods/etc.).

If possible, store yard waste in a place that will not get wet during the week if it rains. If heavy rain is expected overnight, please place yard waste out before 6:00 a.m. on the morning of your collection. As a reminder, wet yard waste may be over the weight limit and if so, will not be collected.
